A Celebration of Swedish Autumn Flavors. There’s something truly special about Swedish apples in autumn: their fragrance, their taste, that feeling of harvest and tradition. On September 23rd, we celebrate Äpplets dag (Apple Day) and, at Café FIKA, we proudly honor this beloved fruit.
We have close ties to the Sörmland region, where our Head Chef Maria Printz grows apples of various varieties. Several of our producers grow apples and craft high-quality cider, carefully made and full of flavor.
All year round, you can find on our website a selection of apple-based products from various Swedish producers, including craft ciders.
And seasonally, we also offer apple-based treats — like an apple crumble in autumn — to accompany a warm and delicious fika.
